When done, try signing in to Skype for Business and check to see whether or not the problem has been resolved.

I have checked a bunch of DNS settings, NATing, etc. Type the following into both the Internal server name box and the External server name box: :443. Im not sure what else to troubleshoot to get skype to connect. The asterisks server isĬurrently hosted in another building which is also where all the public IPs for Lync and related services come in that are then being NAT to servers across a (temporary) VPN. (Semi-related environmental info: Our phones work internally and Externally with Lync integrated with an Asterisks server. I watch the firewall and I see the firewall is receiving the packets and utilzing NAT to forward to the correct server (i.e 1.1.1.1 -> 2.2.2.2 NATġ0.0.0.5), but I can't see where the packets/interaction is going beyond that, other than it's not connecting. When trying to connect to skype for business externally, it just hangs in place and users cannot sign in. Thing I left the same, because I figured it doesn't matter really, is the PUBLIC NIC for the edge server. I also changed the IPs on the servers themselves. I changed the DNS entries on our local DNS to reflect the new subnet/ip information for both Servers. I am able to log into the Microsoft Teams profile just fine but am unable to log into the Skype for Business profile. We recently just migrated over servers to a new location. Hello Polycom Support, I recently purchased a few Poly CCX 500s for the ability to make use of the Skype for Business and Microsoft Teams profiles.
